2 Chronicles 8:14 ויעמד And he appointed, כמשׁפט according to the order דויד of David אביו his father, את מחלקות the courses הכהנים of the priests על to עבדתם their service, והלוים and the Levites על to משׁמרותם their charges, להלל to praise ולשׁרת and minister נגד before הכהנים the priests, לדבר as the duty יום of every day required: ביומו of every day required: והשׁוערים the porters במחלקותם also by their courses לשׁער at every gate: ושׁער at every gate: כי for כן so מצות commanded. דויד had David אישׁ the man האלהים׃ of God
